We work with multiple leasing providers and types. This can take various forms: part from your gross monthly salary, gross end-of-year bonus or gross bonus. Some companies work with a cafeteria plan, on the basis of which the lease is established.
After the lease period, you can usually exchange or take over your bicycle at a predetermined residual value, free of charge.

- What is the advantage of leasing a Cowboy through my employer?

Leasing through your employer is fiscally very interesting, since the monthly leasing instalments are taken from your gross salary. Leasing through your employer is on average 40% cheaper than a private purchase. The net deduction from your salary starts from as low as €54 a month spread over a period of 36 months.
After the lease period, you can usually exchange or take over your bicycle at a predetermined residual value, free of charge.

- All-in lease package: You can count on multiple services and insurance, while leasing your bike.
- How long is the leasing period?
Usually, the leasing period is 36 months. The instalments are deducted from your gross salary on a monthly basis until the end of this period. This could also be a longer or shorter period, depending on which local partner you lease through.
- What happens if I leave my employer?
There are different possibilities depending on the situation. It's best to discuss the options with your employer.
- Can I add the Cowboy theft insurance to my leasing order?
No, it's usually not possible to add our theft insurance to the offer. Most of our leasing partners have their own insurance against theft, accidents, and damages, included in the leasing package. It is of course possible to purchase our insurance privately as an addition to the insurance included in the leasing package.
- Can I add Cowboy Care to my leasing order?
No, it's usually not possible to add our Cowboy Care subscription to the offer. Most of our leasing partners take care of their own service package or budget. It is of course possible to purchase our care plan privately as an addition to the service included in the leasing package. If you leasing package includes a service budget, you can also use this budget to purchase our Care plan.
- Can I add accessories to my order?
Yes, you can add both the bike and accessories to your order. Please note that some partners don't consider smartphone mounts* as well as matching phone cases as leasable. Please get in touch with your local partner to get more information on this topic.
- I already purchased/pre-ordered a bike with you. Can I use this order to lease via one of your partners?
Unfortunately not. The only option here would be to cancel your order and place a new one through the local leasing partner.
- What happens if I want to return my Cowboy?
In general, this is not possible. When you receive your bike, it's very important to check it carefully for any defects and faults before activating it. In case your bike was delivered with any damages, please contact our customer service. An exchange for the same bike is possible in certain cases. You can find our return policy here.
- Which Cowboy models can I get through a leasing or cycle to work scheme?
You can purchase all our new models via a cycle to work scheme if they can be covered by your voucher or certificate budget. You cannot purchase a circular bike through cycle to work.
